World Wide Knit In Public Day

Save the Date WWKIP

Saturday, June 10 is World Wide Knit In Public Day where we bring our knitting and crocheting out of the closet and do it in public.  Most of us already do but for those more bashful types, this is your day and we want to help you celebrate your craft.  Join us at Georgetown Yarn at 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. for a gathering of very social people who will be knitting and crocheting and if we are lucky we will see some spinning and weaving as well.

We will be providing cookies and water but feel free to bring your favourite non-alcoholic beverage and join us.  We do have chairs but bring your own just in case we run out.  We will be meeting in from of the shop at 170 Guelph Street in Georgetown (corner of Guelph St and Windsor St) across the road from the Superstore so come out and play, the weathe is supposed to be very fine.

Keep you sticks clicking in public,

Betty-Anne
