We hope you’ve had a chance to see the Pharmacy window downtown Georgetown to preview a few of the finished blankets and a display of beautiful red and white panels. If you haven’t, you still have time. The Pharmacy has asked us if we want to keep the display there for a few more weeks into July. What wonderful news! People love looking at all the work you’ve put into this Canada 150 project.
As a bonus, Dave and I will be set up in front of the Pharmacy this Saturday morning for the Farmers Market for anyone who is interested to see Dave winding cakes of yarn or me knitting some panels. What fun! If you’re in the area, please drop by to say “Hi”.
Attached are 2 photos of 2 more completed blankets. (#5 and #6). There are 8 in total completed to date, 1153 panels finished, and a list of 138 knitters and crocheters participating.
Thank you to everyone who is adding to this fun adventure.
Watch for our second display in the library showcase at the bottom of the stairs near the back of the library, beginning June 17 for 2 weeks.
