Kit #13 - Chickadee Cowl

Chickadee Cowl 1The Chickadee Cowl by Kristen Kapur was originally published in Through The Loops Ravelry Store. This cowl is made with a multi colour bulky yarn and the colour changes make for a very interesting effect. The level of expertise on this project is listed as easy and the linen stitch is a cozy stitch that will keep your neck warm.

You can give this as a lovely hostess gift either knit up or given as a kit for a knitting hostess.

Have fun and keep your sticks clicking,

Betty-Anne

Kit #12 - Three Two One Cowl

Three Two One Cowl 1The Three Two One Cowl by Gretchen Tracy was first published at Balls to the Walls Knits in July 2015 and is now available for free on Ravelry.  This cowl is desgined for three colours and they build to make a luxurious winter accessory.  The skill level on this one is rated as medium and it is a very elegant cowl that would suit anyone.  Our stylists have outdone themselves this time with the colour combinations which are fun and elegant.  Come out and see what we have for you in time for the gift giving season.

Keep your sticks clicking,

Betty-Anne

Kit #11 - GAP-tastic Cowl

GAP tastic CowlAnother of our favourite kits at Georgetown Yarn is The GAP-tastic was designed by Jen Geigley and was published in Jen Geigley Designs in December 2010.  This is a fun, easy and quick knit that will be loved by anyone.  I knit it a few years ago for one of my nieces, she loved it and I had fun making it.  I call it a hockey knit because it is something I could knit while watching the Toronto Maple Leafs with my husband.  Whoever you knit this cowl for is going to love it and you are going to enjoy making it.

Our stylists have put this pattern together with some scrumptions chunky yarns some of which include alpaca and when you see them your fingers will start itching to take them home to make.

Keep your sticks clicking,

Betty-Anne

Kit #10 - Friendship Headband

Friendship HeadbandThe Friendship Headband by Brome Fields was published in November 2014 and is now available as a free Ravelry download and as a kit at Georgetown Yarn and boy is it a beauty.

The thick cable and chunky yarn makes an elegant and accessory to keep your ears warm.  It takes between 40-60 yards of yarn and our stylists have paired this elegant pattern with the beautiful Berroco Peruvia Quick which is 100% Peruvian Highland Wool and the colours are delicious.  It is a quick knit for last minute hostess gifts or as a stocking stuffer.

We have several of these kits still available so come in and find a colour that makes yourheart go pitter patter.

Keep your sticks clicking,

Betty-Anne
